        Every Security Guard, Assistant Security Officer and Security Field Officer must know the nuances of “How to check and verify various Identity cards and papers?”

 

                      If an outside driver has to stay overnight inside the premises of the Company, his Driving license has to be checked thoroughly.

            The vehicle’s FC validity period, Carbon pollution certificates are also to be scrutinized.

                    If technicians and vendors came inside the compound to do various tasks, the Identity Proof, Address proof must be verified, and  with the list from HR department.

                    Anybody who is coming inside the organization for work, must hold an “Insurance Card” issued by competent agencies and authorities.

                    If a contract or vendor worker met with an accident inside the compound, and he / she is not having an Insurance scheme on him / her, it will become a problem for both the Organization and the Security Officer.

f)               The identity proofs and address proof cards of temporary workers like Canteen staff, waste removal staff, Paramedical staff, gardening & horticultural staff and Pest control staff are also to be checked carefully and recorded.

g)              The main gate Security Guard and the ASO of the shift have to be alert and coordinate together, when a group of persons come at the same time and showing various identity cards like, Aadhar Card, Voter ID card, Pan card, Postal ID card, Insurance card, Public Transport ID card, and vendor company ID card.

        In a nut shell, if a bad person went inside the Company or Organization and done any damage to Men, Material or took away the sensitive information, the Company will suffer, the Apex level people of that company will be infuriated, and the result may be the Security Agency’s contract may not be extended.

        So, always be vigilant and allow only the right person, that too with the authentic approval of the Management staff inside the Compound.  

        Do not forget to obtain every detail in the proper register.
