Dress code, Uniform and Accessories of a Security Person
The first person to receive a Visitor in any Organization, is the Main gate Security Guard. And the second person the Visitor meets is the Assistant Security Officer.
So, first impressions
are very important. Because, as the
maxim goes, “You will not get a Second chance to make a First impression…!”
The security person’s Uniform should be cleanly washed, properly
pressed or Ironed, and the Shirt neatly tucked into the pant.
ASOs and Field officers must ensure that, each and every Security
Guard who is on Duty in that particular Unit, is having the following Security
Uniform Accessories.
1) Safety
Shoes spotlessly polished, with Socks
2) Security
Belt
3) Whistle
and Raider Rope
4) Security
Cap
5) Shoulder
Strap with Stars
If prompted, Assistant Security
Officers must be prepared to come in Safari suits, and Pakidi dress on function
days, foreign dignitary visit or special occasions.
In a nutshell, your Uniform and the way you wear them,
should invoke the respect of the workers and the appreciation of Management
staff.
You are solely responsible for the Safety of the ‘Men, Material and Information’ of that
Organization. Stand tall and be proud of
it, in your ‘spick-and-span’ Uniform…!
